While attending Boys State I agree to the following:
- I will get written permission from the Director and my Senior
Counselor before leaving the grounds of Boys State
- I will obey the rules of the Boys State program and will follow the
directions of my counselors and the Boys State staff.
- I will actively participate and generally try hard to benefit from the
Boys State program.
- I will avoid taking part in or forming new injurious habits.
- I will write home to my parents, sponsors, and the American Legion
informing them of my safe arrival and my activities at Boys State.
- I will make a formal report (oral or written) to the American Legion
and/or other sponsor(s) upon returning home.
- I will protect and preserve property and generally leave things in a
condition equal to or better than I found them.
- I will keep my room and city clean and do my best to keep all campus
property in the same manner.
- I will respect the rights of others involved in the program so that we
will all get the maximum benefit from Boys State
- I will not take part in any activity involving firearms, fireworks,
drugs, liquor, tobacco, or gambling in any form while participating in the
Boys State program.
